Esmeralda
del Eden.
From the original band of mares inherited to our breeding program, we selected one that carries the blood of our patrimony, and best exemplifies our preferred type. Esmeralda del Eden is a daughter of notable broodmare sire and sire of Champions, Monarca de Besilu. Monarca passes to Esmeralda the blood of Contrapunto, a link to our patrimony and foundation for quickness, harmonic gait, smoothness and beauty. Esmeralda's dam is a daughter of a Carmin son and a Pistolero daughter. The Carmin enhanced the rear drive and power of the gait and the Pistolero is a second link to our patrimony enhancing smoothness and rhythm, making Esmeralda an important cornerstone for our breeding program. Esmeralda has proven herself in the show ring and as a broodmare. 5th National Champion in 2000, 5th National Champion in 2001 and Reserve National Champion in 2002, all in the hands of Youth Rider, Shelley DeLong, we could not be more proud of Esmeralda's accomplishments. Always fun to ride, Esmeralda is quick and proud, with controlled power, smooth and elegant. Her first filly, out of our stallion Beech Tree Maestro, is owned by the Crooks family of Texas, and was 2004 4th National Champion A/O Fino Schooling 3 year Filly, ridden by then owner, Diane Jones. Campana was also 2005 5th National Champion A/O Pleasure 4yo Filly, ridden by Diane and 2006 National Champion Horsemanship Sub-Junior ridden by new owner Alison Crooks. Campana is continuing in her mother's winning ways! Esmeralda has a bay 2005 colt by Ghandi de la Vitrina that is presently being saddle broke and a 2007 bay colt by Patrimonio de Besilu, a Patrimonio del Ocho son out of a triple Contrapunto mare. Esmeralda is bred for a 2008 foal to Comentario de Selecta.
